2010 ANNUAL MEETING RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION A – ADOPTION OF TAX LEVY
BE IT RESOLVED that the School District of Auburndale levy a 2010 tax of two million, seven hundred ninety thousand, three hundred fifty-eight dollars ($2,790,358.00) upon the taxable property of the School District of Auburndale as presented in the proposed budget for general operations; payment of debt and interest; and community service for the 2010-11 school year.
RESOLUTION B – SALARIES OF BOARD MEMBERS
BE IT RESOLVED that the annual salary for Board members be fixed at [$1,000.00] per year with an additional [$30.00] per meeting paid for attending special meetings, other than regular scheduled meetings, in the capacity of a board member.
RESOLUTION C – REIMBURSEMENT OF BOARD MEMBERS’ EXPENSES
BE IT RESOLVED that Board member be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred when traveling in the performance of duties and for actual loss of earnings when duties require the Board member be absent from regular employment.
RESOLUTION D – DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board is authorized to dispose of unneeded school equipment and material and that the Board has the authority to assign school administration the task of determining items deemed surplus, establishing their value, and selecting the means or method for their disposal.
