SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT
Senior Awards Night will be held on Wednesday, May 14th at 7:00 pm in the high school old gym. All seniors, parents and friends are invited to attend.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT
Build family memories at the Annual Elementary Family Fun Night! This year's event will be held on Friday, May 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the elementary school. Go back "Through the Years of Auburndale Elementary"â¦play games reminiscent of your grandparents' and parents' school years (musical chairs and hopscotch, hula hoops and Twister) as well as showing off your moves with Dance Dance Revolution. There will also be a huge bounce house. Check out pictures of your school from throughout its history, test your knowledge at Auburndale Elementary trivia, and make a cool craft to take home. You might even get to hear a story or two about your parent's school years.
The event is open to all pre-K through 6th grade students and their families. Concessions will be available. There is no cost to attend, although we are asking each person attending to bring one non-perishable food item to be donated to our local food pantries. We are still in need of volunteers to help run the activities and bakers to make cupcakes, cookies or bars for the event. Please call Karen at 387-3470 if you are able to give an hour or two to help us pull off this huge event for your school.

AUBURNDALE STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
Community involvement brings learning to life. This is the opportunity to reach out and thank the staff of the School District of Auburndale for their involvement in our children's lives. The Store in Auburndale offered a special this week to all school district employees for their hard work and dedication to the community. Thanks for the donation! Also, thanks to those who donated to this event.

2008 PTO SUMMER ACTIVITY
Would you like to learn a new skill while your children attend summer school? Save gas, reduce trips to school and help with a good cause. The PTO will be utilizing the summer school time to make a quilt for a fall fundraiser. This will help the PTO purchase more playground equipment, which is desperately needed. If you are interested in learning to quilt, please join us. If you have material you would like to donate, please email Carrie Kundinger at ckundinger@aubschools.com.

FESTIVAL FOOD RECEIPTS FUND RAISER
The Auburndale PTO will be collecting Festival Food receipts throughout the summer. You can drop off the receipt at the Pioneer Bank in Auburndale. This money will be utilized to purchase more playground equipment. We need to address some safety issues on the old equipment. Please drop off your Festival Food receipts at the bank and help support your school.
